Just Launched: PostPocket – Effortlessly Save and Organize Your Online Content
by shivamrishi
You're going to really launch/propel when you implement import features. I currently subscribe to GetPocket and I'm tired of their slowness, stupid skeumorphics and irrelevant animations.
I'd gladly switch if you provide an "Import from {YourHoardingTool}" feature ;)
Thanks for your feedback! An import feature is definitely on our radar. To help me understand the types of data and formats you’d need to migrate, could you please provide more details through this link: https://tally.so/r/nrdzl5? Your input would be invaluable in making this transition seamless.
I mean, from the post it looks like you are the first one tackling this problem.
It could help a section where you go through a pros&cons analysis with other competitors.
e.g. why should I ditch my 10 years of pinboard.in bookmarking for this App? Can I import bookmark to it
Instapaper user here, with same questions
Unlike Instapaper, which focuses on saving full articles for reading, PostPocket is designed for quickly saving and organizing content via share extension from any mobile app, allowing seamless capture without interrupting your scrolling. PostPocket saves links and associated metadata rather than the full content to ensure privacy and data security.
In other words, frame it as benefits, not features.
I've used wallabag for this
Thanks for the feedback! I may not have expressed it clearly—PostPocket lets you save content from any mobile app using a share extension, so it won’t disrupt your scrolling. You can revisit the saved posts later through the app.
This looks like it might be good for people who post a lot on social media, to organise or recycle their content.
Thanks! I actually use it for interview prep—saving system design posts from Reddit and coding tips from LinkedIn. It keeps all my resources organized in one place.
I’m excited to share PostPocket, an app I just launched that helps you easily save, categorize, and access your favorite content directly from your favorite platforms. Whether it’s insightful articles, social media posts, or useful links, PostPocket lets you store them in organized categories to revisit later without distractions.
Key features:
Save directly from other apps: Use our share extension to capture content in just a few taps. Organize with Categories & Tags: Keep all your saved posts easily accessible. Offline access: Perfect for catching up on reading without needing to be online. Privacy-focused: We don’t collect personal data, and our analytics is minimal—just enough to help improve the app. I’d love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or anything else that comes to mind. If you'd like a code to try it out for a few months at a discount, comment down!
Thanks for your support!
